Bar & Waiting Staff
We are recruiting for friendly, vibrant bar staff to join our team. The right candidate will be reliable, energetic, and teamwork orientated. Experience of banqueting, bar work, and cellar management is preferable but not essential as full training will be given.
Kitchen Porters
We are looking for a Kitchen Porter to join our team the right candidate should be reliable, willing to learn, and teamwork orientated. The purpose of the role is to assist with cleaning and can lead to other work such as preparation of food and plating up of food.
Housekeeper for Private House
We are looking to employ an experienced housekeeper to assist in the running of a large country house on the Tupgill Estate. We are looking for a thorough, conscientious, dedicated and discreet person to manage the large house to a high standard.
Flexible working hours available to suit a wide range of applicants which will include weekend work a guaranteed minimum of 10-15 hours per week more during family occupancy.
Job Knowledge & Skills:
- Show good practice in working hygienically and methodically.
- Actively listens, takes on board instruction & shows initiative.
- Manage the needs of the family when in residence.
- Complete all household cleaning, ironing and communicate with
- Management team with any repair and maintenance issues identified.
- Maintain confidentiality and discretion at all times.
Hours of Work:
- Additional hours may be required at peak times. Staff will be expected to adopt a flexible approach to hours of work however we are flexible when these are completed if the family is not in residence.

The Forbidden Corner
Cafe Cook/ Supervisor
In this role you will be working alongside the Kitchen Manager, you will be responsible for assisting with all aspects of the café day to day operation, from intake of goods, preparation, cooking, service, and clearing down and associated record keeping.
You will always work to ensure that our customers experience the best service possible, and that the team is working together to maintain high standards of service.
Key Duties:
- Oversee day-to-day operations of the café, ensuring smooth functioning and excellent customer service.
- Preparing and presenting dishes to a high standard.
- Maintaining impeccable standard of cleanliness and record keeping.
- Manage inventory, order supplies, and monitor stock levels.
- Confident in training new staff and leading by example.
- Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints promptly and professionally.
- Cover Kitchen Manager’s days off (Thursday & Friday) & holiday Days
Ideally, you will have the following:
- Experience in working in a kitchen or catering environment
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations
