Founded in 2014, The Saddle Room was converted from former racehorse stables and now boasts a highly commended restaurant, a variety of events spaces and award winning accommodation. Our restaurant has been a staple of the local area, proudly offering a meticulously crafted seasonal menu & bar classics. Our Sunday Lunch is not one to miss either! With meat supplied from R&J’s prized Signature Waterford Farm livestock, ever-changing starters & desserts, a full Saddle roast is sure to leave you well & truly ‘done in’ for at least 24 hours!
Accommodation
With so much to do and see in the area, our beautiful cottages or bed and breakfast rooms provide the perfect base! There are seven cottages to choose from, all feature fully fitted kitchens, a comfortable lounge and stylish bathrooms. Our Bed & Breakfast rooms are each named after racehorses that have won nationals. Pretender, the name of our twin room, trained right here on the Estate who won the 2000 Guineas 1869 at Newmarket and The Derby 1896. Each of our rooms are 5* AA rated with luxurious Noble Isle amenities, en-suite with either a bath or drench shower, handmade soft furnishings & more.
Events
We also have event spaces to cater for a variety of events! From weddings and conferences to in house events such as our sell out Charlotte Tilbury Masterclass, the possibilities are endless. Situated across 513 acres of glorious Yorkshire countryside, the Dales is one of the country’s most picturesque wedding locations.
